John is a graduate of Regis University, Class of 2023. He received a BS in biochemistry with an emphasis on analytical chemistry, as well as a minor in biology. His undergraduate research focused on the kinetics of alkaline phosphatase in E. coli after inducing a double mutation that relaxes a catalytic triad in the enzyme. Graduate school is a goal in the future, but he doesn’t know what he wants to do yet. When away from the lab, John is either playing video games, cooking, building Lego sets, or attempting to read the books that he bought a year ago.
